We would like to extend a sincere thank you for the show of support that was received during the "NACE Chicago Annual Holiday Fundraiser" on Thursday, December 10, 2009. The event was great fun, filled with meaningful connections, an sophisticated and elegant menu, a wonderful collection of silent auction items, and plenty of delicious desserts to bid on.
Together with your support, the fundraiser was very successful. Monies raised will go to support our local Chapter and its members for future events and educational opportunities. In addition, the Chicago Chapter of NACE was pleased to introduce the Greater Chicago Food Depository (GCFD) as its charitable organization (represented by Tom Hayes); a portion of the proceeds raised will be presented to the GCFD and NACE Chicago looks forward to a continued effort in supporting the GCFD.
We would like to extend our grateful appreciation to all of those individuals and companies who donated products and services for the silent auction. The majority of the silent auction items were donated by our industry colleagues, sponsors and friends. A very special thanks goes to those that donated to the live cake/dessert auction (for which KC of the Keith Christopher Entertainment Group did a fantastic job as auctioneer.
